Volunteers are the heartbeat of Friends of the Unborn. Whether you can give a few hours a month or a few hours a week, your time and talents directly impact the lives of vulnerable mothers and their babies. There are many ways to get involved, and we'd love to have you join our family.
Ways to Volunteer
Volunteer
On-site volunteering may include short-term babysitting on-site while our moms are attending a life skills class. Or we often need more heavy lifting help or a small house repair, yard clean-up, or a little fresh paint here and there.
Fundraise
Many supporters find creative ways to fundraise. For example, in lieu of holiday or birthday gifts, ask friends to support our organization by making a donation.
Baby Shower
Baby Showers or Supply Drives are a very popular and fun way to collect new items for our young families. It's the perfect idea for Schools, Churches, Businesses, and Organizations.
Baby Bottle Boomerang
The Baby Bottle Boomerang is a fundraising favorite! We supply the baby bottles and you spearhead the event! We will supply you with materials and bottles to set up at your Church or Organization, you pass them out, and ask them to be returned by a certain date with monetary donations of Cash, Loose Change, or Check.
In-Kind Services
Does your company offer services, sell, or build something that may benefit our residents or our home? Consider offering a service or product that might improve our home and the life of our residents.
Teach or Tutor
We are always looking to enrich the lives of our residents through education. Consider sharing your skills or specialty teaching a workshop, weekly class, or tutoring English as a second language (ESL).
